Netherite is an item that was added with Minecraft’s Nether Update, it can be used to upgrade diamond armor, weapons, and tools!
- As with pretty much all crafting, the first step is to open your Crafting Table.
- Add 4 Netherite Scrap and 4 Gold Ingot into the crafting grid. You must add them in the correct order for this to work.
- The first row requires 3 of the Netherite Scrap.
The second row is 1 Netherite Scrap in the first box, followed by 1 Gold Ingot each in the second and third boxes.
The final row 1 Gold Ingot in both the first and second box. - Move the newly crafted Netherite Ingot to your inventory and you’re done!
Need to know where to find the Netherite Scrap needed? Obviously, you will need to head to the Nether! You will need to smelt Ancient Debris to create the Netherite Scrap. You’ll need a Diamond Pickaxe in order to mine for Ancient Debris, anything less and you’re breaking blocks for nothing. You can find these blocks between levels 8 to 22 inside the Nether only.
Each Ancient Debris will smelt into one Netherrite Scrap… making this not a quick process but it will be worth it in the end as it’s currently the best item in Minecraft.
Be careful mining out there and don’t fall into any lava!
